Good:

La La Land: Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone, possibly the greatest onscreen couple of our age, star in this tribute to all passionate people. It doesn’t matter where your interests lie; this movie will hit you on a personal level. The story revolves around an aspiring actress and a motivated jazz pianist who fall in love. It depicts the sometimes painful balance between work and love, and accepts the harsh reality that sometimes to chase a dream you have to give up another. Supplemented with whimsical singing and dancing, beautiful set and costume designs, and superb camera work, this old-school musical tribute is not one you want to miss.

Bad:                                       Image result for zoolander 2

Zoolander 2: Memes die out once they are no longer ironic. Jokes get stale. Even though Zoolander is one of the greatest comedies of all time, it’s sequel is not protected from this expiration of humor. While Zoolander was a unique, laugh-out-loud piece of comedic gold, Zoolander 2 is an uninspired retread of what came before. Nothing in this movie defies the preset conventions and the actors give shallow reenactments of their old roles. Do yourself a favor and just watch the original.

Ugly:                                 Image result for batman v superman

Batman v Superman: We could have had something great with this movie. Batman v Superman is one of the most debated superhero match ups of all time. Who wins? An alien with seemingly limitless power or a man with limitless resources and a plan for everything? This could have been the fight of the century. Instead we all we got was a brief scrap that ends with the two heroes discussing the fact that both of their mothers are named Martha. Really? That’s it? Well, at least Wonder Woman was cool.
