Thor: Ragnarok – The first two Thor movies are not generally regarded as the MCU’s defining entries, with Thor: The Dark World being their lowest on Rotten Tomatoes. This one seems to be doubling down on the humor that has been present since the beginning, and this move is hopefully not just an attempt to follow in the footsteps of Guardians, but it does have the Hulk and Jeff Goldblum, and early buzz has been good, so I’d remain cautiously optimistic. (November 3rd)

Daddy’s Home 2 – In the humble works of Michael Scott, “NO GOD! PLEASE NO!!! NOOOOOO!!!”(November 10th)

Wonder – An adaption of the #1 New York Times bestselling book of the same name, Wonder tells the story of Auggie Pullman, a boy with several facial deformities caused by a massive amount of surgeries to save his life. The book was incredibly moving, but also really funny when it came down to it. The movie seems to follow suit, and Lionsgate even pushed the release date back several months so that it would be released closer to the Oscars after test audience reception was overwhelmingly positive. All signs point to this being pretty good. (November 17th)

Justice League This movie has an interesting backstory. The original director, Zac Snyder, had to step down to deal with a family tragedy so Joss Whedon, the director of The Avengers, stepped in to finish the movie. Massive reshoots followed, and it will be very interesting to see (November 17th)

The Star – An animated, heresy filled retelling of the birth of Jesus from the point of view of the animals in the form of a musical-comedy. The trailer was unfunny enough that it debuted with The Emoji Movie, so no, I do not have high hopes for this one, and neither should you. (November 17th)

Coco – Pixar has had about 2 unquestionably great movies in the 2010s with very strong tomatoes. Coco is hoping to up that number to 3 with a story about a young boy, music, and dia de los muertos (Day of the Dead). The movie looks beautiful and hopefully Pixar can prove that they haven’t lost their magic just yet by creating a story as compelling as the visuals.  (November 22nd)
