Against a much bigger Houston Christian team, the Hawks started with a huge play on defense, causing a turnover. Despite Houston Christian’s size, the Hawk defense played their hearts out and did a lot of good things.

Unfortunately the offense could not connect. “We did not play to our potential,” said Jameson Clay. Most of the time, the offense beat themselves. Cistercian moved the ball well, but made execution errors that ended the drives before CPS could score. The final score of 23 – 0 was disappointing, but the Hawks fought well and again demonstrated their potential and heart.
